Data Analytics, Dietetics

Using their nutrition expertise, the Dietetics Data Analyst will work to ensure the quality and accuracy of internal food databases, building out their breadth and depth, all while working with a high volume of data. Expansion of the database is centered around leveraging professional training and the subsequent application of the data in clinical practice. This will drive focus areas of which data needs to be developed. You will work with the engineering team to transform this into a User Interface for Clinicians and Patients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain databases within different food categories

  • Review and validate nutrition data using credible sources

  • Provide input into improving nutrition data quality

  • Find solutions, seek creative ways to represent or define data in order to meet project requirements

  • Interface closely with the Director of Dietetics and internal teams to quickly drive new products, new features, and new ways forward in the project

  • Create evidence-based educational documents or presentations for a variety of nutrition topics

  • Contribute to a culture of positivity, inclusiveness and teamwork

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science or related field

  • Microsoft Excel skills are required

  • Advanced competency with MS Office, Teams

  • Analytical thinking

  • Passion to innovate
